What to Make of Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal
TabTrade - The Short VersionTab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker. The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But better than someone with no brokerage experience. The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, equities, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, that coverage is solid. What You Trade OnAvailable: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it once they try it.Direct FIX connectivity is offered for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That would be a good addition when it lands.Accounts and PricingThree levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.Execution SpeedThe execution is the thing TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you swing trade, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is what kind of broker this is.Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.SafetyHere is the part that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, this broker is not for you. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision. The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense comes down to your priorities.Deposit BonusTab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit. The complete breakdown, with the full fee table, withdrawal policies, get more infoclick here and regulatory tab trade details, is at tradetheday.com.
