Tab Trade - What It Is
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.
Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Suits beginners.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you trade institutionally.
Execution Speed
This is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
But. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that is worth it depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before funding.
