Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the founder knows how a proper broker operates. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade went the other way. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.
Platforms
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for automated strategies but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will be a good addition when it lands.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for beginners.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the thing TabTrade actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair those fill times with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
